CPTA 1?
The next CPTA event is this Saturday....here is some info...
CPTA Biketrials Event May 15, 2010 10:00 - 3:00
This event will include a free Kids Competition and a mini Biketrials Competition for all levels. It will also be a fun "social" for all riders to come out and have some fun, try some Biketrials bikes, bring their kids, wives, g/f out to try some actual sections and have some great food.
We will also have a judged "Olympic" type event down one of the rock faces in the base area for the "pros". Riders will have 30 seconds to negotiate their way down and the winner will be judged on style, speed and how much they were able to bribe the judges….
The kids event will have 3 basic "sections" for the kids to ride. The last 3 years in Whistler we have averaged over 70 kids! They do not need a special bike….they just need to be about 10 and under.
The competition will have sections for everyone from beginners to some of the top pro's in North America. Beginners only need basic trail riding experience and a good safe bike….and helmet of course!
Riders who will be competing at the main events (Whistler and the CPTA July 3rd event) need to sign up at Cycling BC online to join the club and be insured for the year. CPTA members will not have to pay for this event but riders who do not sign up will have to pay a $10 drop-in fee.

Looks like Jeff is setting a bunch of the expert/pro sections and I will set the beginner/sport/kids sections.
